Sentio Desktop (Andromium) turns your Android into a desktop

Andromium gives you the ability to turn your Android device into a desktop. It makes you device look like a desktop PC.

When you open the app for the first time, you will have to give Andromium some permissions. You also might want to play around with the scaling. After you have done all that, you are presented with a desktop, the looks a lot like Windows 10.

On the bottom you have your taskbar with some apps. On the far right of the taskbar, you have your clock, WiFi and keyboard settings, notifications…

You can freely move the icons around the desktop. There are a few apps that come with the app, that work just like they do on a desktop. This includes a file explorer, minesweeper, calculator, an internet browser…

Andromium OS turns your android device into a fully functional computer by attaching your device to TV/Monitor and Keyboard and Mouse. It really is worth trying. There are a few things to note, tho.

It’s still in beta. Don’t expect it to work flawlessly. If you completely shut Andromium down, you will have to reboot your device in order to get it going again.

You can download Andromium here.
